Verify your speeds and check your address availability.

How to get accurate results

01.

Use an Ethernet Cable: WiFi results vary based on distance. For a true NBN test, plug in directly.

02.

Stop Active Downloads: Ensure no one else is streaming, downloading games, or on video calls during the test.

03.

Test at Different Times: Run tests at 3 PM and 8 PM to see if peak-hour congestion is affecting you.

WiFi Analyzer Apps

If your WiFi drops frequently or is slower than expected, your router might be sharing a frequency "channel" with your neighbors' routers. Download a free WiFi Analyzer app on your phone to scan for local interference.

  • Android: Search for "WiFi Analyzer" in the Play Store.
  • iOS: Use Apple's "AirPort Utility" (You must enable Wi-Fi Scanner inside your iPhone's main Settings app first).

Tip: Find the least crowded channel and update your router's wireless settings to use it.

Router Admin Gateways

To change your WiFi channels, network name, or passwords, you must log into your router's admin panel. Type one of these common IP addresses into your web browser's address bar:

192.168.1.1 192.168.0.1 10.0.0.1

The exact IP address and the default admin password are usually printed on a sticker underneath or on the back of your router.
